Quinta do Estreito is a beautifully restored Quinta hotel with a relaxing atmosphere, in lovely countryside just 15 minutes from Funchal and 40 minutes away from the airport.

The Quinta do Estreito is very elegantly decorated and tastefully furnished in warm colours with exquisite taste and great attention to detail. The main building has been lovingly restored and the south-facing rooms all have a large balcony.

The gardens comprise of an olive grove, a French garden, tropical plants and organic agriculture. The quinta also has a swimming pool and esplanade.

The stop for buses to Funchal and towards the west of the island it is only a 5 minutes’ walk. A taxi stand is also nearby. There is also free parking at the hotel as well as an underground garage.
